A golf course carved of ancient rock and timber in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
Why Is Our Course Special?
Northwood Golf Club is carved out of ancient rocks, rolling hills and dense forests. Northwood opened for play in May 1989. Designed by Minneapolis golf course architect, Don Herfort, Northwood lies on a 260-acre parcel of land that nature did a great job of landscaping before he arrived. To his credit he used the natural feeling of nature to create a golf masterpiece. Northwood is located just minutes away from 232 freshwater lakes, the Pelican and Wisconsin Rivers, modern accommodations and fine dining. Experience the thrill of playing a course that the WSGA rated 5th in Wisconsin from 1989-1994.
